Maintain Performance
The Spelflex system is designed around the need for flexibility over a long lifetime. Road sweeper suction hoses are compressed or squashed when stowed for travelling and then extended for sweeping. If the hose creases when stowed and does not recover when extended, the weakened area will fail prematurely. Spelflex hoses do not crease and therefore recover time after time to maintain performance and give a long working life.
We also produce light duty Spelflex suction hoses which can be used where plastic ducting has traditionally been used, such as “jet vac systems” and other light applications. The Spelflex rubber hoses will give similar performance to plastic duct, but last considerably longer.
